As we strive to respect all the living beings on this planet.
Penetrate our souls with the beauty of this Earth,
As we attune ourselves to the rhythm and flow of the seasons.
Awaken our minds with the knowledge to achieve a world in perfect harmony
And grant us the wisdom to realize that we can have heaven on earth
Lakota Prayer
Grandfather Great Spirit, all over the world the faces of living ones are alike.
With tenderness they have come up out of the ground. Look upon your children that they may face the winds and walk the good road to the Day of Quiet. Grandfather Great Spirit, fill us with the Light. Give us the strength to understand, and the eyes to see. Teach us to walk the soft earth as relatives to all that live.
Goodwill to all beings
Let the Forces of Love bring light to all humankind. Let the Spirit of Peace be spread abroad. May all those of goodwill everywhere meet in a spirit of cooperation. Let power attend the efforts of the Great Ones. So let it be, and help us to do our part
